Where the European nobility met The royal splendor of the regent building
If you are on vacation in Bad Kissingen, you should definitely pay a visit to the Regentenbau. It was commissioned by Prince Regent Luitpold in 1911 and is now considered Bad Kissingen's landmark. The White Hall, the Green Hall and the Max Littmann Hall offer an impressive ambience. The Regentenbau also regularly hosts special events and concerts. The Regentenbau, by the way, lines the beautifully designed Kurpark where you can stroll in a relaxed manner and let the impressions take effect on you.
Unique in Europe Say cheers with healing water
Another great sight of Bad Kissingen is the Wandelhalle and the Brunnenhaus. The hall is the largest of its kind in all of Europe and was already graced by kings, princes and other high-ranking visitors during Luitpold's time. If you like, you can taste the healing water for yourself, which is still served in the traditional way by well women. The water comes from the Pandur Fountain and the famous Rakoczy Spring.
arcade building A magnificent building in the spa garden
The arcade building was commissioned in 1834 and, with its Florentine early Renaissance style, is a real highlight in Bad Kissingen's spa gardens. Look forward to the sight of impressive fresco paintings and Romanesque round arches. The excellent acoustics in the arcaded building should also be emphasized. In addition to the premises themselves, the garden of the Schmuckhof is also worth a visit.
